probably a short in the ceiling fixture. how old is it? look into a replacement for it.
it could be how they are grounded?
real answer is IDK, but maybe if u dont want to fhire an expert, buy the cheapest lightbulbs u can and just replace as often as u have 2
It sounds like a wiring problem. Start by changing the lighting fixture and see if that works. If not open up the ceiling.
You maybe using the wrong WATT bulb for the lighting fixture. try using a different watt of bulb it might help.
You most likely are putting a light bulb in with to high of a wattage. Generally you need 60W or less for a ceiling light. The temperature generated is what causes it to "burn" out.
bad ground wire somewhere those electicity saver bulbs last a good long time the one made in a swirl.
You need to get an electrician in your home to check out the wiring. And do it soon before you have a fire! Don’t mess around with electrical situations if you don’t know what you’re doing. Don’t put anymore bulbs in. Call an electrician immediately or ask around and see if you can find one with a reasonable rate. Because they’re as bad as Dentist as far as pricing is concerned. But please make sure that whomever comes in to do the work, that they are licensed. Just in case they don’t know what they’re doing.

hi,there is most likely a short in the wire.you should have some one who works with electrical, (P.G.&E.).it could end up starting a fire if it doesn’t get taken care of.Good luck.

Could be cheap light bulbs with too much vibration…is it a ceiling fan? That happened to me. I bought a more expensive bulb and have had no probs.
Try using a heavy service bulb. They have a heavier filiment inside the bulb. I believe they are marked as 130 volt instead of the standard 120 volt. I have the same problem and was told it was caused by excessive vibration especially under the stairs.
