How to attach Christmas lights to ceiling without damaging ceiling?
I wanted to attach some white christmas lights to my ceiling (inside bedroom, i know, cheap and tacky, but whatever) , but im renting and dont want to drill any hooks or anything, what should i use? Im not trying to make small hanging icicles or anything, just lines of light going across, something like the link im giving below, just on a smaller scale

I use the plastic thumb tacks just be careful not to punture the light string an a may make a small hole but not enough to see if it does a little white toothpaste in the hole covers well. Its not weird cheap or tacky.
Blue masking tape. It is specifically designed to not damage existing paint.
buggers
3m makes a removable sticking plastic clip. I have purchased them at Lowe’s and Home Depot.
