Im hooking up ‘3′ track lights. Cannot seem to have the connection go to the switch on the wall! Please help?
all 3 lights are to run off one switch, first we had it all hooked up put in a light bulb and they came on…without a switch, obviously that does not work…what am I doing wrong?

You likely have a switch loop off of the ceiling box, and you connected the switch in parallel to power and the light, and possibly blew the switch doing that.
You need to take it down and find which is the power and switch cable, mark the white from the switch loop black and connect to incoming power black, and connect the light to the white from power, and black from the switch.
