Just installed a new ceiling light, worked at first but now all the ceiling lights arent working,cn ne1 help?
there are two grey wires in the light no longer being used and also a green and yellow wire unused, the old light fitting could take six bulbs but this new light is a single fitting.

Sounds like you shorted a wire and tripped the breaker or blew a fuse. If this is the case, call a professional and explain what you did. He may be able to fix in a matter of minutes but expect to pay for an entire hour.
Or you can live in the dark.
Or you can risk electrocution and/or burning your house down.
get a sparky 2 look at it,sounds like it needs to be earthed,thats what the green and yellow ones for.
I would have to know what country or state you live in to better help.
The truth is that if you worked on it and now it doesn’t work, what makes you think that if you work on it agin, it will work this time?
Perhaps it’s time to bring a professional in on the matter.
