what I’m trying to do is run a track lighting fixture from the ceiling. There is no electric box where I am trying to install the lights. I thought maybe I could run a wire from the lights down the wall and connect a plug at the end of the wire to make the fixture run off of a wall outlet instead of a electric box in the ceiling. Do I still have to use the ground wire? if so, how do I do it? Is it safe to not use it? Thanks for your help & patience.

How Can I Control Strobe Lighting & Lighting Through USB?

Like I have lighting but its simble connect to a plug and my strobe you have to control the speed manualy but turning the switch on the back, i want an easyer option, like connecting to my laptop and then downloading software that will be able to control the lighting.

Any CHEAP idears?

Im willing to pay for adapters, or connectors but not software.

Cabinets: chocolate espresso (dark brown)
Countertops: Santa Cecilia granite (cream colored with brown & blacks shadings / specks)
Floor: creamy colored ceramic
Appliances: stainless steel
Backsplash: undecided

I want to hang 3 pendant lights over the island, but can’t decide what color the lampsade should be. It’s easy to stick with the brown / yellow shades, but would any other colors look nice too?
