I have a pendant light on the landing. When fitted with a low energy light bulb it flashes once every 10 seconds when the lightswitch is off and therefore should have no current passing through it. If I change it for a standard filament bulb this does not happen. I have not encountered this problem in any other light fitting in the house. Any ideas?

How and Where do I buy the glass to cover the light bulb? 1 Glass cover broke on my ceiling and 1 free standing light also. Usually what is the cost for something like this?

all 3 lights are to run off one switch, first we had it all hooked up put in a light bulb and they came on…without a switch, obviously that does not work…what am I doing wrong?

do they make cfl bulbs that I could place in my recessed lighting in my living room? right now it looks like the bulbs in them are simliar to a flood light bulb, it probably is not, but thats what they look like. Also these lights have dimmers on them, I figure i’d have to find a light that is ok with dimming
I also have 6 bulbs in my bathroom vanity that i would like to replace as well, i believe the sockets on those are smaller than the standard cfl bulb.

my vanity lights are not as big as an orange, they are a bit smaller..

I was watching a show on HGTV recently called Light It Up, it’s a show all about lighting your house. They showed a pendent light that screwed into a recessed can socket just like a light bulb. Anybody know where I can purchase this and about how much do they cost?
