What kind of lighting setup do you need in any 3D software to create photorealistic 3D images?
I am using high-resolution textures on my 3D figures but when I render an image, I am losing that photorealistic feel the textures were giving to my 3D characters. My lighting needs to be setup properly but I wonder what would be the best one…

Adjust the "lightspot" reflection differently, experiment with lenses, try some default setups of the package, check that the surface materials are right. Also, the lights could be more distant than you think in packages such as raydream and lightwave..
